I got a new toy!!

                                                                                 

After many years of using my homemade trailer that was given to me (in the background) it finally sprung a leak...so...it was time...I got a new one!!! I just love it!..so excited..NOW I gotta fill it up :) It's only a 6x12..but that's plenty big for me. It's just the motivation I needed to get BUSY and get LOTS of prims made for my shows this year...think I'll start first thing in the morning :)

I MISS YA'LL...

I've been missin' my blogger friends lately...but I've been in the woods from sun up to sun down for a couple of weeks now. I love hunting MORELS! Been finding them by the gallons this year...best year in a LONG time!!! Havin' a blast...I'll be back in a week or two :) By the way, I'm only ONE Follower away from my bunny giveaway!! Coupon Shopping Trip

ok...I finally did it! I went coupon shopping today!! My total bill came to $111.50 and I only paid $80.24 after $31.26 of coupons and ad~matching was deducted. I saved over 28%...and that's pretty darn good for me. It was actually kinda fun...and it felt great to save my family money :) It didn't really take THAT long to get it all organized...maybe next time it'll take even less. Monday night my church had Misty from The Frugal Family give a couponing class, and I really learned alot from her. Then I watched Extreme Couponing this week..WOW!..they are EXTREME!! I'll never have a supply stored up like they do...I don't even want to! I won't spend an hour a day doing it, but I will spend an hour a week to save. It's a great way to save money on groceries and household items and get my daughter's college fund built up.

I've been contacted by one of my favorite primitive magazines asking me to submit one of my prims for possible publication in their magazine!!! I don't wanna jinx ANYTHING, so I'm saving the details to share when I get confirmation. What an AWESOME opportunity! Keep your fingers crossed for me :)

Celebrating Spring!!

Just finished this adorable lil bunny last night. She turned out soooo cute~I just love her! Gettin' ready to make a bunch more for my upcoming spring show in April. I used a pattern from Maureen at Sweet Meadows Farm...she's awesome!

It's a great day at Five Acre Primitives!!

The sun is shining and the windows are open! I finished up 5 little turkeys today:) They're about 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". I've been working on my blog this week....adding features and even some giveaways from some of my blog friends. I'll be posting more of my blog friends giveaways later in the week. I'm excited that I'm only 25 followers away from MY primitive rabbit giveaway!! And, I'm already planning my next giveaway. It's been really FUN meeting and getting to know my new prim friends!!
